Saeki, a salaryman trapped in a cycle of mediocrity. He lives with his girlfriend, a woman who views their cohabitation as a mere stepping stone toward the ultimate goal of marriage and stability. For Saeki, however, their shared life feels less like a partnership and more like an endurance test. His only escape is a digital one. He finds solace in stalking the secret social media account of his formidable boss, Misaki. In the office, she is the picture of perfection: impossibly ambitious, flawlessly competent, and yet, possessively kind. Her success is a glaring spotlight on Saeki’s own feelings, and her support only deepens his shame. Cornered and feeling utterly pathetic, Saeki decides to strip away her power, to expose the real woman beneath the corporate armor. But his attack is met with the last thing he expects. Instead of fighting back, Misaki responds by seizing him and pulling him into a kiss.
