Meiko is the kind of classmate everyone notices but few truly know. Beautiful, quiet, and effortlessly brilliant in her studies, she carries herself with a calm grace that keeps most people at a distance. But there’s one person who sees a completely different side of her: Hiroki, her childhood friend. Around him, the polished exterior melts away. She laughs freely, slouches without care, and lets her guard down in ways no one else gets to witness.

Today is no different. She’s over at his place again, lounging in his room in clothes far too light for the season. Comfortable. Unbothered. Completely at ease. And Hiroki, well, he’s trying his best not to stare, but his eyes betray him. Just for a second. That’s all it takes.

Meiko catches him. Of course she does. She always does.

Hiroki’s face burns red as he stammers out an apology, but Meiko doesn’t scold him. She doesn’t get angry. Instead, she tilts her head and asks something that stops him cold: “So… want to touch?”

The situation spirals into something neither of them planned.
