But then, something shifts. Seeing this intimidating girl holding his volume, a spark ignites. The manic, passionate collector within him, usually buried under social anxiety, begins to stir. His stutter smooths into an eager, rapid-fire commentary. The excitement builds, a geyser of shared passion ready to erupt! This is it—the moment his hidden world bridges the gap!

Nishizono closes the book with a definitive thud. Her verdict is glacial, devoid of malice but utterly final: “I didn’t get anything out of it.” She writes him off, not with cruelty, but with a disinterest that cuts far deeper. The connection he felt was a one-way street. His paradise, rejected.
