In a quiet neighborhood, Mizuha had been frantically searching for a middle-aged man who, for some reason, knew every detail of her personal life, her birthday, her workplace. But just as suddenly as he appeared, he vanished, leaving her spinning in confusion.
What Mizuha didn’t see was the man doubling back.

Once the door closed, his demeanor shifted.
